Bone's body was found late in the morning by a paddleboarder on Lake Ivanhoe, the Orlando Police Department said Friday.

“Earlier today a body was located at Lake Ivanhoe, we have confirmed that the body is 24 year old Brian Williams Bone. His family has been notified,” said. Lt. Ashlee Windler with the Orlando Police Department.

The paddleboarder, who was not identified, reported finding the body in the area of North Orange Avenue and South Ivanhoe Boulevard at about 11:55 a.m.

Bone was found floating under the I-4 eastbound bridge, investigators said.

The Orlando Fire Department dive team assisted in retrieving the body from the water, police said.

Bone was reported missing by his family on Monday, Nov. 22, when they could not reach him after his birthday party in downtown Orlando, the Orlando Police Department stated.

“I wished him happy Birthday, and then he told me he was going to go to brunch with some friends. And then he was going to go out drinking, and then I was joking with him and said you know we have to switch ages today,” his mother Inez Favors said on Friday before she was told by authorities that her son's body was found in the water.

Her and her husband started Friday with a hope of optimism as they continued the search for their son. On Friday afternoon, she said she wouldn’t feel complete until her son was found.

“We have this connection me and Brian … I am trying to stay positive, I am trying not to think crazy,” she said.

Moments later, she was told her and her husband were needed at the Orlando Police Department.

About 20 minutes later family, friends, and Bone's girlfriend were all at the police department. Shortly before 4 p.m., his parents went in, and just minutes later loved ones outside all began to grieve in unison.

It did get tense here at the Orlando Police Department while Bone’s parents were inside with detectives. A couple of fights did break out leading to an arrest or two.

The police are still sorting the details of the altercations out and they are continuing to work on the details how this could have happened to Bone

Currently, a possible cause of death have not been determined, investigators said.
