ROCHESTER, N.Y. — Some good news on the Rochester indie theater scene as The Little Theatre is reopening for indoor screenings next month.

The East End mainstay says it will pop the popcorn and dim the lights on Friday, April 16.

There will be noticeable changes when you go.

Masks are required when you're seated and not eating food. Social distancing will be enforced, and you're encouraged to buy tickets online ahead of time to avoid creating a line.

When arriving at the box office, you'll choose an assigned seat, and your theater's doors will not open until 30 minutes to show time.

Management says it’s working on having snack-free screenings later in the spring.
