What You Need To Know

  • Annual War on I-4 game went ahead with CDC guidelines in place

  • UCF fans traveled West for the game

  • Masks and seating restrictions in place in Raymond James Stadium

The big rivalry game usually draws big crowds but things were much different this year, including a tailgate restriction.

“There is no tents allowed, no coolers outside, you basically stay by your car,” said UCF fan Tom Kreahling.

Kreahling and his friends made the trip West on I-4 to cheer on the Knights.

“It’s the War on I-4! They call it trophy game which is fun. Over the last few years it’s been a big rivalry for us,” said UCF fan Dave Stone.

Stone and Kreahling have been to most of the away games for Knights and have had to follow CDC guidelines.

“We are wearing masks, we had to follow certain guidelines and protocols and we are all willing to do to root our teams on,” said Kreahling.

Inside Raymond James Stadium, there was limited seating, but it did not stop Stone and friends from having a blast.

“It’s also exciting when the Knights take the field,” said Stone.
