Halloween this year will look very different because of the pandemic. Some families may ditch trick-or-treating and stay inside watching spooky movies.

Spectrum News recently spoke with UCF’s assistant director of film and mass media, Dr. Gary Rhodes, about what newly-released films people should watch to get in the Halloween spirit.

Dr. Rhodes offered insight on how the film industry is faring overall during the pandemic and what’s next, especially for horror films.
