Two area schools are updating their learning plans after positive COVID-19 cases are confirmed.

Bethlehem Central High School is virtual through next week. Administrators closed the school for this week after seven positive cases were reported.  

There haven't been any more since, but school officials say they want to make sure the virus isn't spread by returning too early. 

A similar situation at Ichabod Crane High School in Columbia County. Students will be completely remote through November 6. 

The district saw three seperate cases connected to one at the primary school, two of those being out of the high school, and one from the middle school. The primary school remains open, and the middle school returns to in-person learning Friday.
