SANFORD, Fla. — With less than a month before what's sure to be a historic presidential election, President Donald Trump has returned to Florida to fire up his supporters and urge them to head to the polls.
Trump's campaign rally Monday night is at Orlando Sanford International Airport in Sanford. Doors opened for the 7 p.m. rally at 4 p.m., though supporters were already queuing by Monday morning.
It's the president's first campaign rally away from the White House since he came down with COVID-19.
Florida is critical for Trump's re-election bid. Democratic rival Joe Biden was in the Tampa and Central Florida areas last month, and Trump visited Jacksonville for a rally at Cecil Airport.
