KISSIMMEE, Fla. — The investigation continues into the death of a 22-year-old Kissimmee man gunned down in his own home.

Ricardo De Lara appeared to be shot several times inside his home, police said. Kissimmee Police Department received a 911 call on May 16 just after midnight about a shooting on Fox Crossing Drive.
Two weeks later, you can see the front door of the home sprinkled with bullet holes and the backend sliding glass doors shattered.
KPD’s Deputy Chief Daniel Schad said this violent act was very much intentional.
“Ricardo did not deserve this,” he said. “So we implore everybody who has any kind of information to please come forward and let us bring justice not only to Ricardo but let us bring closure to his family.”
Liliana De Lara, the mother of Ricardo De Lara said, “Please help me find the killer or killers… Not for my sake or my son’s sake, because finding this person or persons will not bring him back, but just so we can spare other families.”
