SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – A classroom on wheels is giving young students the chance to learn physics through hands-on experiments.
The new Physics Bus is a first for Seminole County Public Schools.
Here are five things to know about the new bus.
1. Fourth and fifth graders at Midway Elementary in Sanford got a chance to board the new Physics Bus.
2. This is the first semester the bus has been on the road.
3. The idea is to get more students interested in the science, technology, engineering.
4. The bus was paid for with private donations and grants.
5. Two more buses are already in the works — one to teach students about electricity and the second to teach optics.
