ORLANDO, Fla. — A man is recovering after being trapped in a carnival ride.

It happened Friday on North Alafaya Trail in the Waterford Lakes area.

According to Orange County Fire Rescue, a carnival worker got pinned down in one of the rides. The man was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center as a trauma alert.

There were no other injuries. 

Authorities have not released any other information.
