WINTER PARK, Fla. — "How To Marry a Divorced Man" is now playing at the Winter Park Playhouse.
Here are five things to know about the show:
1. The musical is making its world premiere run at the Winter Park Playhouse.
2. The musical comedy is based on the book by Leslie Fram. It follows Layla Diamond who, after listening to advice from her ex-soap star mother, attempts to hunt down and settle down with a divorced man. The poor thing makes one comedic miscalculation after another.
3. The professional cast includes returning Playhouse veterans Zach Nadolski, Lourelene Snedecker, and Todd Allen Long, as well as new Playhouse talent Christine Brandt, Sonia Roman, Brian Brammer, and Kailani Brianna Maeda.
4. The show runs August 2-25, 2019. Performances are Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m., Thursday and Saturday matinee performances at 2 p.m., and select Friday and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.
5. Tickets cost $45 for evening shows, $42 for senior evenings, $36 for matinees, and $20 tickets are available for students, active military, and theatrical industry professionals. Tickets can be bought online.
