MOUNT DORA, Fla. – Firefighters with the Mount Dora Fire Department on Saturday rescued a couple of ducklings that were trapped in a storm drain.

The firefighters were called to Dogwood Mountain Reserve after receiving a report of a duck in distress.
The duck turned out to me a mother duck, whose ducklings were trapped in the drain.
Firefighters were able to rescue two of the ducklings. Two other ducklings were not able to be rescued, but firefighters believe they made it to a retention pond at the end of the drain.
