ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Sheriff’s Office reported that a barricaded suspect has prompted a large law enforcement presence at an apartment complex in Orange County Thursday night.

Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies say the scene is at Pointe Vista Apartments near Americana Boulevard and Texas Avenue. It's in the Oak Ridge community of Orlando. 

Authorities are urging people to avoid the area.
