ORLANDO, Fla. — If you're a Floridian looking for deals on attractions, theme parks, and the beaches, you've come to the right place.

Spectrum News 13 Insider is aimed at making your life in Central Florida easier, and we've found some Florida-specific deals that look pretty attractive.

I have to admit, after I moved here, I wasted no time going to Disney, because it's cheaper if you live here. There are resident-only passes like the Disney Gold, Silver and Theme Park Select passes. As Floridians, we can also pay monthly for them with a down payment, which helps us budget.

Universal Orlando also has discounted rates for Floridians, and those, too, are sizeable.

It gets better than that, too. For the month of March, Gatorland in Orlando is only charging Floridians half price for tickets.

Icon Orlando, which is the big observation wheel on International Drive in Orlando, is offering Florida residents 25 percent off general admission.

If you're going to the beach, I found that if you live in Volusia County, you can get an annual beach pass for $25 which, according to the website, is unlimited beach entry for a calendar year. Compare that to $100 for nonresidents.
