ORLANDO, Fla. — A 98-year-old Orange County woman is now displaced after a fire destroyed her mobile home Tuesday evening, according to fire rescue.

Orange County Fire Rescue on Twitter said they responded to a mobile home on 2823 10th Street.

Upon arrival, crews reported there was heavy fire to the single-wide trailer mobile home. The woman and her dog were able to escape the fire.

Although the fire was put out within 10 minutes, the home was heavily damaged.

According to Fire Rescue, The American Red Cross is working to assist the woman and her dog with temporary housing.

The State Fire Marshall will be investigating the cause of the fire.
