PALM BEACH, Fla. — Nestled away in Palm Beach is famous Floridian Henry Flagler’s summer home-turned-museum that will transport you back to the early 1900s.
Here what you need to know before you visit the historic South Florida property:
- The Flagler Museum also known as “White Hall” was built for Henry Flagler in 1903.
- Henry Flagler is credited with helping create tourism in Florida after he founded the Florida East Coast Railway.
- Guests can walk through the mansion on guided or self-guided tours. The mansion is three-stories tall, and guests can explore 55 of the 75 rooms in the home.
- The Flagler Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.
