DELAND, Fla. —  New hotel construction will start impacting a DeLand neighborhood next week.

Fenway Drive will be closed just west of the Bentley Green subdivision to install a storm line next to the Pet Supermarket.

According to the city of DeLand, road work will begin January 28 and could last until February 5. Crews hope to have the work completed before then.

This is the first of two additional road closures planned for a later this year in the area. A new storage facility is also being built near the new hotel.
