ORLANDO, Fla. - A reboot of the Ripley's Believe It or Not! TV series will shoot episodes in Orlando.

Actor Bruce Campbel (Evil Dead)l will host the new series, which will record 10 hour-long episodes at the Ripley Warehouse in Orlando.
The series will feature real-life stories from around the world.
"As an actor, I've always been drawn toward material that is more 'fantastic' in natures, so I waa eagar and excited to partner with the Travel Channel and Ripley's Believe It or Not! on this new show," Campbell said in a statement.
The first version of the program featured Robert Ripley as a host in 1949. Actor Jack Palace hosted a version of the series in the 1980s, followed by Dean Cain in the 1990s to early 2000s.
The new series is set to debut this summer on the Travel Channel.
"Travel Channel fans have an insatiable curiousity about the world and sharing this wonderful and weird series with the next generation of fans is a thrill," Travel Channel general manager Jane Latman said in a statement. "This entirely new version of Ripley's is a fresh contemporary approach to the odd and unusual and will be jam-packed with larger-than-life-characters, cool facts, history and science."
