MELBOURNE, Fla. — Here are five things you should know about the traveling Cirque Italia Show, which has made its way to Central Florida.

1. Traveling Water Cirque Show

The new-age modern production is touted as the first traveling water Cirque show ever in the U.S. The stage is filled with 35,000 gallons of water.

"It's not that we're going to get wet," said performer Ana Zeman. "We work surrounded by water."

In other words, it's kind of like a water curtain.

2. Roller Skating Act

Ana and Karoly Zeman have been doing a dangerous act on roller skates for 20 years. They met on the job back in the early-nineties when she was a flying trapeze artist.

“After three months, we just got married,” Karoly said, smiling. “So they figured they'd create a dual act. She came up with the idea of roller skating, and I was doing a BMX bicycle act, so that's kind of similar – wheels, rolling around.”

That led them to an appearance on America's Got Talent in 2016.

3. Other Acts

Other acts in Cirque Italia include contortionists, mermaids, a laser man, the wheel of death, an aerial artist using a net, and more.

No live animals are in the show – only puppets.

4. Stimulate Your Senses

The show aims to stimulate five senses: see the big top tent and performances, breathe in the smell of concessions, sit center ring on the edge of your seat, taste the cotton candy, and hear the crowd yell.
