AUSTIN, Texas – In his bid to be reelected as the mayor of Austin, Steve Adler is hosting an out-of-this world fundraising event.
Mayor Adler will hold a screening of “Ready Player One” with the book’s author, Ernest Cline, in attendance.
Tickets for the event start at $75 each. The screening will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at the Curtain Theater Grounds.
Other guests include space technology entrepreneur Laetitia Garriott, explorer Richard Garriott, Eisenhower fellowship recipient Whurley, philanthropist Eugene Sepulveda and entrepreneur Joshua Baer.
The theater is located at 7400 Coldwater Canyon Dr.
Other candidates squaring off against Adler include Travis Duncan, Laura Morison, Gus Pena, Alan Pease, and Todd Phelps.
