ORLANDO, Fla. -- Multiple people are now detained after a pursuit for burglary suspects that shut down Interstate 4 early Tuesday morning, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Orange County deputies were chasing the suspects' vehicles onto the highway as they tried to escape, officials stated.
The pursuit stems from an arrest warrant for a suspect in a 2015 burglary at the Central Florida Fairground.
Authorities say several shirtless suspects were seen stealing guns from tables.
Deputies identified Isaiah Montgomery, 18, as a suspect in the alleged burglary, issued a warrant for his arrest, and located his whereabouts.
They say social media posts surfaced with Montgomery and other suspects reportedly holding firearms.
Orange County deputies say they took an opportunity to take Montgomery and other suspects into custody while they were on I-4.
Public Information Officer with the Sheriff's Office Jeff Williamson stated that deputies were able to get the vehicles stopped at I-4 and Lee Road, but that resulted in shutting down the interstate in both directions for one and a half hours.
Fifteen suspects were detained, along with Montgomery, who was taken into custody and arrested.
Authorities say drugs and a firearm were found and recovered. No one was injured during the stop.
Investigators slowly opened up lanes of traffic, and it took about two hours to get everything going normally again.
The investigation is ongoing.
