The sun-filled Sunday has led to a pleasant evening, and more nice weather is ahead overnight.

We'll mostly clear skies for the early morning hours, with overnight lows in the low to mid 60s.

More sunshine is ahead for Monday, along with some slightly cooler temps. A surge of cooler air will work its way down the peninsula Monday, resulting in cooler temps. Highs for Monday will be in the low 80s under mostly sunny skies.

Temps rebound heading into midweek. We’ll see near full sunshine both Tuesday and Wednesday, with warmer highs in the mid 80s.

The warming trend will continue heading into Thursday and Friday. Mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies will develop each day, with warmer highs in the upper 80s to low 90s.

Next weekend looks dry and warm. Saturday and Sunday will feature partly cloudy skies and highs area-wide in the upper 80s and low 90s.

No significant rain chance is expected over the next 7 days, which could lead to an increased fire danger later in the week.
