Overflow from Shingle Creek caused major flooding in the area.
Swimming pools of water can be seen in the front yard of homes.
Mailboxes are barely above water lines.
Some homeowners are reporting water almost up to their waist.
Water levels in Shingle Creek are past 62 feet.
Several families in the area had hours to pack up and leave their homes.
They were told to evacuate.
About 20,000 gallons a second is being pumped from the creek.
