Police said they are searching for a woman who stole a puppy from the Halifax Humane Society.
Surveillance images and video released Tuesday show a woman walking into the shelter on Saturday, July 25.
Police said the woman walked out with a Chihuahua puppy valued at $300, and left the shelter in a red truck.
