An Orange County mother accused of beating up a student pleaded not guilty Thursday.
Investigators said video of the incident last month outside Eccleston Elementary School in Orlando shows Sandra Rivera purportedly going after a student.
Investigators said Rivera threw a student off his bike, slammed him into a concrete wall and then started choking him, allegedly threatening to kill him.
The mother claimed the student had been calling her daughter names. Rivera is even accused of later showing up at the student's house.
She's now charged with kidnapping and battery. This case is scheduled to be back in court in early March.
