When a career-ending neck injury forced Buffalo Bills center Eric Wood into retirement, it took the pro-bowler a year to figure out how he’d pivot his career.

With his new book called “Tackle What’s Next,” he wants to help others find their path no matter what stage of life they’re in.

Wood joined “News All Day” Friday to share more.

For anyone looking to make changes within their life, Wood suggests for them to start by figuring out natural gifts, creating a vision for the future, surrounding themselves with the right people, setting up a routine, stacking wins, and becoming the healthiest version of themself.

Wood explained that people create self-confidence by “stacking wins” — something he defines as keeping promises people make to themselves.

He said that little wins, such as making the bed, can lead to long-term success.

“Tackle What’s Next” is available for pre-order on Amazon and will be on sale next week at major bookstores.
