ORLANDO, Fla. — August is Black Business month, and in recognition of that, we take a look at equal pay in America.
A leading global think tank and business membership association, The Conference Board, released a new study that shows Black Americans still earn less than white Americans.
The Conference Board attributed the wage gaps to several factors, including geographical segregation and labor market segmentation, as well as different access to educational opportunities, social and professional networks.
We explore these factors as many top American companies increase diversity and inclusion in its business models.
