We are talking about Women's History Month this weekend on In Focus.
Marisa Jacques sat down with state Sen. Rachel May. May spoke about contemporary women in New York who make a difference. They talked about how Andrea Stewart-Cousins ended the "three men in a room" myth when she became state Senate majority leader. May says Stewart-Cousins has worked to make sure women's voices are heard during the budget and legislative process. LeMoyne President Linda LeMura was also noted as a force of nature as the first female layperson to be named the president of a Jesuit institution.
