GUESTS:

  • Gov. Greg Abbott (R) Texas
  • Lt. Gov. Jon Husted (R) Ohio
  • Sen. Steven Daines (R) Montana
  • Congressman Richard Hudson (R) North Carolina

Texas Governor Greg Abbott talks about his RNC speech which focused heavily on the border saying that there are three laws already on the books in the United States that President Biden is refusing to enforce. Abbott says the laws require the President to deny illegal entry, detain anyone who enters illegally and build border barriers. He says Texas is doing all three of them and illegal immigration is going down while it is going up in other states. Abbott says you can expect an even more robust border security plan under Trump while Democrats stand for open border policies.

Abbott also discusses about how Americans are paying more for gas and groceries under Democrats. He says Texas which has no income tax has led the country in economic development. Abbott says Texas is also strengthening the power grid adding 50 percent more of power by 2030.

Ohio Lieutenant Governor Jon Husted says Vice Presidential pick JD Vance will be a great partner on the Trump ticket, since he grew up part of the working class and understands what the people need. The Lieutenant Governor also discusses why he thinks this election year will see a lot more red voters because working class Americans want to see a change, amid inflation and public safety concerns. Husted shares his support for law enforcement and service members and discusses concerns about Mayors in Democratic-run cities and what would happen if they chose to follow their own rules. When asked about his own political goals, Husted answers that he's hoping to run for Governor next, but only wants to focus on Trump winning the November election right now.

Montana Senator Steve Daines explains why he believes the Biden Administration failed America and Congressman Richard Hudson discusses what is ahead for the Republican party.

Montana Senator Steve Daines explains why he believes the Biden Administration failed America. Daines talks about how the Republican party responded to the assassination attempt on former President Donald Trump. The Senator says he hopes this incident helps bring down the hateful temperature happening across the country. He believes the American people are rejecting the left agenda, like immigration, and are looking to see a change. Daines discusses inflation and how Biden reversed Trump's policies that helped bring up those costs. He says he thinks Trump will win West Virginia, as well as other swing states that will make or break the election. Daines talks about how the Republican party plans to win states that recently turned blue, like Georgia.

North Carolina Congressman Richard Hudson shares his views on why Republicans need a Trump win in November, saying over the last four years lots of good laws have been blocked.

Hudson talks about VP candidate JD Vance and how he’s served the country in the military, wrote a best-selling book, and lived a rags to riches kind of story. Hudson is asked about the parties views on abortion, and accuses Democrats of being extreme saying they have voted in favor of abortion up until the moment of birth, something even pro-choice advocates don’t agree upon. He says most people agree there should be some type of limit. When it comes to swing districts ahead of the November Election and whether Republicans can grab some of those seats, he says those districts are very important, and the biggest key is having really good candidates and that’s what gives Republicans the edge.
