Eleven years ago, All Aboard Florida announced plans for high-speed rail service between Miami and Orlando.
In 2018, the newly renamed Brightline started operations between Miami and West Palm Beach.
Since then, construction has migrated north and west, and now, the Brightline extension connecting to Orlando is ready to begin operations.
