We will explore programs and legislation that could benefit those with disabilities. How these initiatives can be improved and where we are succeeding. We will discuss a new proposal that would stop private schools from discriminating against students with disabilities.  Currently, private schools which receive state money through the voucher program can deny admission because of certain learning disabilities. Some schools specify that students cannot have any emotional disorders or conditions like Autism, Asperger’s, and Down Syndrome. The conversation will extend into how to better serve disabled students in the education system and workforce in Florida. Is there proper access?
