We examine the training teachers would be required to take after signing-up for the guardian program.  Lawmakers expanded the program during the 2019 legislative session allowing armed teachers in the classroom.  We explore the new safety measure, the benefits, the challenges, participation and implementation. We will also touch on the various amendments proposed to this measure as many lawmakers considered this bill a “starting point” with room for improvement.
