At 55 years old Daniel Fay, also known as Faymous Fisherman on TikTok, started an account to share his love for fishing with others.
He’s gained thousands of followers by uploading funny skits, tutorials, and tips on how to fish.
“With so much negative going on right now. With all the hate that is going on and all these things that are going on… People have developed a hunger for the wholesome,” Fay said.
He recently set up an event in which he gave away nearly 50 fishing rods to children in St. Cloud. He said it’s not about the rods but about the message behind teaching a kid how to fish.
Fay competes in Bass Nation tournaments through Winter Springs Bass Masters. He hopes to gain support and organize another fishing event in September.
