4. AdventHealth Hospitals Delaying Some Elective Surgeries Because of COVID Care

  • Newly elected Orange-Osceola State Attorney Monique H. Worrell will be inaugurated 3 p.m. Friday, January 8. 
  • The Orlando Fringe Winter Mini-Fest, which starts tonight, continues with both in-person and virtual events.
  • Due to "significant" increases in new COVID-19 cases, Orange and Osceola County courts will not hold jury trials and will not call jurors to appear from now through February 15, 2021. The Ninth Circuit says if you received a summons for these dates, you do not need to report and your service is complete.
