There are many things to do across SoCal. Here is a list of some events worth checking out:
Corgi Beach Day
The biannual festival will return to Huntington Beach from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 5. It will include activities such as contests and vendors. This year's theme celebrates surf vibes, tiki fun and a sea of fluggy surfers.
WonderCon
WonderCon, the sister convention to San Diego Comic-Con, will return to the Anaheim Convention Center this weekend, from March 28 to March 30.
The annual gathering attracts more than 50,000 fans who come together to celebrate comics, pop culture, science fiction, anime, cosplay and more.
This year, more than 900 exhibitors will hawk exclusive toys, merchandise and clothing across a 412,000-square-foot exhibit hall. WonderCon also features autograph sessions, cosplay, gaming events and several movie and TV panels, including a special 25th-anniversary tribute to “The Emperor’s New Groove.”
Tickets can be purchased here or on-site at the Anaheim Convention Center. Daily tickets range from $42 to $59, and children ages 12 and under go in for free.
Knott’s Berry Farm’s Boysenberry Festival
Knott’s Berry Farm’s popular Boysenberry Festival celebrates its 10th anniversary this year.
From March 28 to April 27, the Western-themed theme park’s annual food and wine festival celebrates the park’s boysenberry origin. Boysenberry, created by Anaheim horticulturist Rudolph Boysen in the 1920s, is a hybrid of blackberries, loganberries and raspberries. Walter Knott popularized the hybrid fruit, which has a mild sweet flavor, during the Great Depression.
The month-long festival will feature more than 80 unique food and drink items, each with a boysenberry twist. Some of the menu items include boysenberry-infused chile verde over Spanish rice, boysenberry marinara chicken parmesan over noodles, boysenberry tiramisu and boysenberry sangria garnished with an orange slice. There will also be live music, musical stage shows and other activities for visitors and families during the festival.
Visitors will need a separate admission ticket to enter the theme park and can purchase a tasting card for $55. Tickets can be purchased here.
Grind House skate park
Vintage Land, home of the Los Feliz Flea Market, will open a brand-new indoor skate park at 11 a.m. Saturday. Grind House will be available for skating free of charge for the day to celebrate at Vintage Land, located at 1030 Alpine St. in Los Angeles. After March 29, access will be exclusive to members Tuesdays through Saturdays. Angelenos can register in person or online for a Grind House membership starting at $50 a month, with unlimited skate park use. Complementing the on-board excitement, tattoo artists will be inking live, giving guests an up-close look at their precision and technique.
The Flower Fields at Carlsbad Ranch
The colorful flowers are expected to transform the rolling hills of North San Diego County. The 55-acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers that make up The Flower Fields will be in bloom for approximately six to eight weeks. Bubblefest at Discovery Cube Orange County
One of Discovery Cube Orange County’s most popular annual events, Bubblefest, has returned to the children’s science museum. SoCal families can experience a bubble-filled adventure, including a Bubble Zone Festival, a bubble wall and the usually sold-out Mega Bubblefest Laser Show starring bubble artist Melody Yang.

Superman Day celebration at Warner Bros.
On April 18, Warner Bros. will screen Christopher Reeve’s "Superman" on the iconic WB backlot. The day will celebrate the Man of Steel’s legacy with activities, including going behind the scenes to see props and costumes. The tour will last about an hour.
The Warner Bros. Studio Store will also showcase art from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tickets cost $89 for adults ages 5 and up. As a bonus, any DC merchandise purchase will include a free special edition comic book, while supplies last.
All-female vinyl DJ series
In celebration of Women’s History Month, the Santa Monica Proper Hotel is hosting an all-female vinyl DJ series called "Women on Wax." Every Friday and Saturday night throughout March, guests can enjoy performances by notable and rising female DJs. Additionally, in support of those affected by the recent Los Angeles-area fires, Santa Monica Proper is collecting vinyl record donations throughout March. Anyone can bring in their vinyl records to the hotel throughout the month for donation.
70th anniversary at Disneyland Resort
Beginning May 16 and running through summer 2026, the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration will honor seven decades of happiness. The resort will offer limited-time entertainment, colorful décor, themed food and beverages, collectible merchandise and more. The special ticket offer can help guests save money on multi-day visits with a variety of flexible options. The “World of Color Happiness!” nighttime spectacular will feature a special rendition of “Rainbow Connection” performed by Boyz II Men.
Los Angeles Festival of Movies
The LAFM has announced programming for its upcoming edition of the festival taking place April 3-6. Now in its second year, the festival will present a program of more than 20 films — including a world premiere, featured artist talks, a curated short film slate and a newly introduced Animation Today program. CicLAvia: Koreatown meets Hollywood
From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on April 6, a few streets will be closed so bicycles can take over. The event will take place through Koreatown and Hollywood. The event is free to participate. For more on the route and tips on how to participate, visit the CiCLAvia website.
11th annual Bob Baker Day
On April 13 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Bob Baker Marionettes Theater will host a free outdoor carnival at LA State Historic Park. Bob Baker Day 2025 is focused on Recovery Through the Arts. As LA rebuild after the wildfires, they are welcoming everyone to partipate in the healing and uplifting of communities through art, imagination and joy. An RSVP is required and can be made online. There's also a suggested $20 donation. There will be music, games, puppets and more.
Grammy Museum
Acclaimed music photographer Jay Blakesberg's latest exhibit "RetroBlakesberg: The Music Never Stopped" is on display through June 15.
Shark Lagoon Nights
On select Friday evenings, the Aquarium of the Pacific's Shark Lagoon will be open until 9 p.m. The free event allows visitors to get close to the ocean's ultimate predator. It will give them a chance to touch smaller sharks such as bamboo sharks and see sting rays and big sharks. The next free event is April 4.
Hollyhock House
Self-guided tours of the Frank Loyd Wraight house are offered from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday to Saturday. Advance tour ticket purchase is recommended.
