Baldwinsville School Board President Jennifer Patruno has resigned, Spectrum News 1 has learned.
The move comes just as school board and budget votes are set to take place Tuesday.
"My time and dedication to the board has taken vast amounts of time from my family, and due to the recent personal events in my life, my family and extended family need me now more than ever," Patruno wrote in a letter dated May 8.
The board is expected to discuss Patruno's resignation during a special meeting on Wednesday.
The district has seen its fair share of turmoil this year. The now former superintendent was arrested for DUI back in the fall. He was caught on camera crowdsurfing at the homecoming football game before the arrest.
