Deputies say 59-year-old Chad Amato, 61-year-old Margaret Amato and 31-year-old Cody Amato were all found shot to death inside their Chuluota home on Sultan Circle on Friday.
Investigators also say 29-year-old Grant Amato is no longer being detained and is cooperating with the Sheriff's Office. They still are calling him a person of interest, however.
Grant Amato is the son of Chad and Margaret Amato and brother to Cody Amato. Grant Amato, as well as a white Honda Accord he was thought to be driving, were found Saturday morning at an Orange County hotel.
Neighbor Mirza Beg said Margaret Amato was a very nice woman.
"It’s sad you know. I don’t have words to describe it the feeling we have," Beg said. "Hopefully they find the right person. Justice should be done."
Seminole County deputies responded to the Chuluota home Friday after a well-being check was requested by one of the victim's employers.
No signs of a break-in were found at the home, and investigators said they remain confident this was not a random act.
