The Los Angeles Dodgers won the National League Championship Series, advancing them into a World Series rematch with the New York Yankees for the first time since 1981.

Many businesses, including hotels, bars, restaurants and retail shops, will see sales increases because of the World Series games. 

A recent study found that home games played at Chase Field in Phoenix during the 2023 World Series playoffs generated an economic impact of $107.6 million.
