The theme park recently shared an update on Iron Gwazi, the record-breaking coaster currently under construction. A video posted to Busch Gardens' Instagram account shows the progress that's been made for the coaster, which is set to open sometime next year.
"Well that escalated quickly…," read the caption on the post.
From the video, it's clear that more pieces of the coaster's track have been installed.
Busch Gardens shared new details about Iron Gwazi, including its name, in September. At over 200 feet tall, Iron Gwazi will be the tallest hybrid coaster in North America. It was also be the fastest of its kind in the world, reaching speeds of up to 76 mph.
Iron Gwazi will also feature a 91-degree drop.
The new coaster replaces Busch Gardens' wooden Gwazi coaster, which closed in 2015.
