ORLANDO, Fla. -- A new film experience is coming to The Land pavilion at Epcot, Disney World has announced.

• The Land pavilion at Epcot to get new film experience
• "Awesome Planet" will feature a story about Earth
• The new experience will also feature immersive in-theater effects

The film titled "Awesome Planet" will feature an environmental message while showcasing "the spectacular beauty, diversity and dynamic story of our Earth."

The experience will also fature immersive in-theater effects and space sequences created by Industrial Light & Magic.

Disney didn't say exactly where the Awesome Planet experience will be located inside The Land, but it will likely take over the space formerly occupied by "Circle of Life: An Environmental Fable."

An official opening date for the experience has not yet been announced.

In addition to Awesome Planet, other new on-screen experiences are set to debut at Epcot. A new Circle-Vision film will be added to the China pavilion, while the film at the Canada pavilion will receive updates.

Over at the France pavilion, a Beauty and the Beast sing-along will rotate with the "Impressions de France" film.
