ORLANDO, Fla. -- Disney's Riviera Resort, which is scheduled to open later this year, is now taking reservations.
- Riviera Resort now accepting reservations
- The DVC property is slated to open fall 2019
- The design is inspired by Walt Disney's travel in Europe
The resort, located adjacent to Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, is booking stays that begin in December.
The 300-room Riviera Resort will feature European touches inspired by Walt and Lillian Disney's travels along the Mediterranean coastline.
"Walt fell in love with European art, architecture, food and stories, and his extended tours of the region continue to influence Disney storytelling and theming," Terri Schultz, senior VP and general manager of Disney Vacation Club, said in a blog post.
Around the resort, guests will encounter an early 20th-century design with archways, porticos, cascading water features, towers and terraces.
Riviera Resort will be Disney's 15th Vacation Club property and feature deluxe studios, one and two-bedroom villas, and grand villas that can sleep up to 12 guests. Rates range from $335 per night for a studio to $2,277 for a three-bedroom grand villa.
The resort will include multiple dining options, including Topolino's Terrace-Flavors of the Riviera, a rooftop restaurant; Primo Piatto, a quick-service restaurant; and Bar Riva, an open-air pool bar.
The resort also will be the site of a Disney Skyliner station, which will transport guests to and from Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.
