ORLANDO, Fla. — Several Walt Disney World guests were trapped inside a monorail for several stops after the doors of their car failed to open Saturday night.

The incident reportedly happened on Monorail Yellow as it traveled along the Magic Kingdom Resort line.
A video, which was posted online, shows guests banging on the doors while the monorail is stopped at one of the stations.
"Hey, we're stuck," yells one of the guests in the video.
After the guests failed to get the attention of a Disney cast member, the monorail continues on to the next stop, the video shows.
The guests were stuck inside the car until they reached Disney's Grand Floridian Resort. The video shows them banging on the windows again, this time getting the attention of one of the cast members.
A description included with the video said that guests tried to use the monorail's emergency phone but no one answered.
It's unclear what caused the doors to malfunction.
"We apologize for the inconvenience and are looking into the matter," a Disney spokesperson said in a statement.
This isn't the first time an issue has been reported with the monorails. Just last month, images on social media showed a door that had fallen off Monorail Green after a guest hit it with a motorized scooter. And earlier this year, a video posted to Instagram showed Monorail Red traveling with the doors open while guests were on board.
The current fleet of monorails have been in operation since 1989.
