ORLANDO, Fla. -- Looking to save at the theme parks this summer?

  • Universal extends Florida resident ticket deal
  • 2 days' admission for price of 1-day, park-to-park ticket
  • Tickets must be purchased by July 31

Well, Universal Orlando has extended its buy-one-day, get-another-free deal for Florida residents.

The deal includes two days of admission to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure for the price of a one-day, park-to-park ticket. It also includes two days of admission to select live entertainment venues at Universal CityWalk.

The ticket costs $170 for adults and $165 for children ages 3-9.

The deadline to purchase tickets was originally June 28, but the Florida resident deal has been extended to July 31. There are no blockout dates, and the two days can be used nonconsecutively.

With the deal extension, the tickets now will expire Aug. 1.

To claim the deal, Florida residents must provide a UPC code from a 12-ounce can of Sprite or Fanta Orange. Proof of residency must be provided at the time of purchase.
