ORLANDO, Fla. -- The Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter has just gotten an upgrade, Universal Orlando revealed Monday.
- Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey upgraded to 4K-HD
- Attraction now offers "superior clarity, sharper images"
- Set designs and storyline remain unchanged
The ride, located inside Hogwarts castle, has been upgraded to 4K-HD, giving riders a "more realistic" view of the magical world.
The upgrade to the projection system "offers superior clarity, and sharper images will further submerge you into the storyline," according to Universal Orlando's official blog.
But don't worry, the attraction's set designs and storyline remained unchanged.
Forbidden Journey opened at Universal's Islands of Adventure with the Wizarding World in 2010.
The attraction takes fans above the castle grounds, as they encounter Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger and a few Dementors.
Universal Studios Hollywood's version of the ride was upgraded to 4K-HD last year.
