Orlando Police are investigating a possible road rage incident on I-4 that ended with a man shooting himself in leg while inside his vehicle.

Investigators said around 11:30 a.m. officers responded to a shooting call on I-4 near Princeton Street. When they arrived they spoke to a man who told them that he was driving on I-4 and got involved in a road rage incident with another driver.

Police said the man told them the other driver showed a gun so he grabbed his gun and ended up shooting himself in the leg

The man, whose name has not been released, was transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Orlando Police Department said they have determined there was an incident in Seminole County and the shooting may have occurred in Orange County

OPD said the investigation has been turned over to the Seminole County Sheriff's Office and the Orange County Sheriff's Office.
