The operator of the Truth Social media platform will launch Truth.Fi later this year in partnership with the investment and banking firm Charles Schwab. Truth.Fi will offer exchange-traded funds, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies and crypto-related securities.

“We look forward to launching Truth.Fi, introducing Trump Media and Technology Group’s investment vehicles and unlocking synergies,” Trump Media Chairman and CEO Devin Nunes said in a statement.

He said Truth.Fi is a natural expansion of Truth Social, which began as a social media platform in 2022 after President Donald Trump was barred from other major sites, including Facebook and Twitter, since renamed X. The company has since expanded by adding a video streaming service.

With the addition of investment products, Nunes said Truth.Fi is “another step toward our goal of creating a robust ecosystem through which American patriots can protect themselves from the ever-present threat of cancellation, censorship, debanking and privacy violations committed by Big Tech and woke corporations.”

Earlier this month, Trump and his wife, Melania, launched their own cryptocurrencies: $Trump and $Melania.

The announcement comes one day after the Senate confirmed Trump’s Treasury Secretary nominee — and cryptocurrency advocate — Scott Bessent. It also comes a day after X announced it had partnered with Visa on a payment system called X Money that will launch later this year.

According to a social media post from X CEO Linda Yaccarino, X Money will allow for secure and instant funding of an X Money wallet through Visa, connect users’ debits cards to allow for peer-to-peer payments and give them the option to instantly transfer funds to their bank accounts.
