MAITLAND, Fla. — An annual fall festival is rounding up all the Greeks in Central Florida.
For over 40 years, the Orlando Greek Fest brings a festive and culturally enriched experience to Maitland.
There will be a marketplace overflowing with Greek gifts, jewelry, artwork, and a variety of imports.
“The effort that goes on behind the scenes is immeasurable,” said Simone Behar of the Orlando Greek Fest. “We have dancers who’ve been practicing the whole year. We have chefs out back right now putting everything together. We have volunteers at every single touchpoint of this entire event.”
From gourmet Greek food to a bakery with traditional pastries, there’s plenty of celebration.
The fest is from 11 a.m. - 11 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2 and 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 3 at Holy Trinity Orthodox Church in Maitland. Admission is free.
