We started out the day quiet, but showers and storms have developed again and will stick around into the evening hours. Some storms could be strong, with gusty wind and heavy rain.

The weather affected graduation ceremonies Friday night in Lake County. Two schools postponed ceremonies. Tavares High School will have its Saturday morning, while Eustis High School hopes to starts its ceremony later in the evening.

Leesburg and Mount Dora high schools moved their events inside. That's causing problems for parents because the schools' indoor facilities do not have the same capacity as the outdoor facilities.

Mostly cloudy skies will continue through the overnight hours. A lot of the rain will end early, then quiet down as we head toward daybreak. Temperatures will be warm and muggy, falling only to around 70 degrees.

Tropical moisture will stay in place this weekend, keeping a decent chance for afternoon rain.

Some sunshine will start our Saturday but will diminish as storms develop in the afternoon. Very similar to the past few days, some storms could be on the stronger side.

Highs will make it into the mid to low 80s.

Not much is expected to change for Sunday, but rain chances are forecast to drop back a bit next week. There's still a possibility for afternoon activity, but not as widespread. Highs will stay in the 80s.

Beach and boating conditions will be a bit choppy with breezy winds, and you’ll want to watch for developing storms.
