In a not so wild game, a wild pitch ended up being the difference in a Class 4A-Region 2 semifinal game played at Trinity Catholic in Ocala.

The Berkeley Prep Buccaneers defeated the Trinity Catholic Celtics 1-0  in front of a packed house on Thursday night's Bright House Game of the Week.

In the top of the sixth, Bucs centerfielder Gordon Stetson scored the game's only run when Celtics starting pitcher Brandon Reitz threw a wild pitch that catcher Sean Gourley couldn't handle and Stetson scored all the way from second base.  The Celtics threatened in the bottom of the seventh with the bases loaded, but Reitz lined out to center to end the game.

In what was expected to be a pitching duel, the pitchers in this game did not disappoint. TC's Reitz (FSU signee) threw 13 strikeouts and gave up 3 hits while Bucs starting pitcher Casey Keller threw 9 strikeouts in the winning effort.

Stetson, who made run-saving plays in centerfield all night for the Bucs, was selected as the BHSN Player of the Game.

Trinity Catholic ends their season with a 20-8 record while the Buccaneers improve to 19-8. The Bucs will play Tampa Catholic on Tuesday in the Class 4A region 2 Final.
