Here's our Signing Day Preview for Central Florida recruits:

It's about time to put the cap on another recruiting year, and there certainly is no shortage of top recruits coming out of Central Florida.

Here's a look at the top 2016 college recruits from the area and their college choice or leader for their commitment:

Chauncey Gardner, CB, Cocoa High School (6-0, 194 pounds)

A four-star recruit out of Cocoa High School loves trash-talking opponents and enrolled early at the University of Florida. He has a chance to get playing time as a freshman in the Gators secondary.

Carlos Becker, CB, Osceola High School (6-3, 190 pounds)

The four-star cornerback boasts more than 25 collegiate offers, including Florida, FSU, USF and UCF.

Jachai Polite, defensive end, Mainland High School (6-3, 255 pounds)

Another defensive beast coming out of Volusia County will stay in Florida as he tries to bolster the seemingly endless supply of defensive lineman on the Gators' front. He had a hanful of other offiers from many top schools, including USC, Auburn, Florida Atlantic, Georgia Tech, Miami and UCF.

Tre Nixon, WR, Viera High School (6-1, 170 pounds)

The Viera High School wide receiver recently committed to Ole Miss over other top offers, like Auburn and Georgia. He's a four-star recruit who committed after a weekend visit to Oxford.

Woody Barrett, dual-threat QB, West Orange High School (6-2, 225 pounds)

The true dual-threat quarterback officially committed to Auburn earlier this month. He’s a four-star recruit.

Eddie McDoom, WR, West Orange High School (6-0, 171 pounds)

The speedy wide receiver from Orlando was committed to the Oregon Ducks, but that no longer stands after he announced his commitment was no longer in place. His 4.25-second shuttle could help any offense, and he has more than 20 other offers, including Florida, Michigan and Kentucky.

Marcus Tatum, offensive tackle, Mainland High School (6-6, 255 pounds)

The Daytona Beach offensive lineman, who is a three-star recruit, will head to Tennessee. He also had offers from Florida and the University of Miami. He was a cog on the offensive unit for a Buccaneers team that consistently competes for a state title.

Jonathan Jones, linebacker, Oak Ridge High School (6-2, 225)

A versatile defensive player likely has his list of more than 30 offers dwindled down to two schools: Notre Dame and Michigan.

McKinley Mitchell, linebacker, Oviedo High School (6-3, 200 pounds)

He's a three-star defensive recruit who has plenty of top offers, including Arizona State, Baylor and Ohio State.

Adrian Killins, running back, Mainland High School (5-8, 175 pounds)

The speedy running back from Daytona Beach made defenders miss since he was a freshman. He will stay local as he looks to cement his shiftiness in the University of Central Florida offense under first-year head coach Scott Frost, who came to Orlando after working as Oregon's offensive coordinator.

LaDerrien Wilson, running back, Osceola High School (5-10, 205 pounds)

The bruising running back out of Kissimmee committed to Maryland earlier this month.
