UCF men’s soccer head coach Bryan Cunningham released the Knights’ 2015 schedule on Tuesday, which includes nine regular season home games at the UCF Soccer Complex. The Knights are entering their third campaign in the American Athletic Conference.

UCF, which is presented by Napleton’s Volkswagen, battles one of its three 2014 NCAA Championship opponents at home vs. Tulsa (10/10). The Knights make road trips to Florida Gulf Coast (9/2) and Northwestern (9/14).

Season tickets, which includes a general admission seat to all home matches, are now on-sale for $30. Youth season tickets (age 2-17) can be purchased for $15. Tickets can be purchased by clicking here.

Packages for the official supporter group, The Knights’ Watch, are $50 and includes season tickets, a scarf, T-shirt, membership card and several free catered tailgates. Since students are always free to UCF home events, membership and benefits into the supporters group will be $15. An organizational meeting is set for July 16 with the time and location to be determined. For more information about the group, click here to register.

Fans also have the option to purchase the UCF GOLD Pass, which features general admission to all home men’s soccer, women’s soccer, volleyball, softball, women’s basketball and track and field events for $90. For more information on how to purchase tickets click here or call 407-UCF-1000.

"The emphasis in creating this year’s schedule was to avoid playing twice in a weekend,” Cunningham said. “Therefore, we are going to play more local opponents, which limits our flights, because we are traveling a lot within the conference.

“We are treating the season more like a professional environment. It is important to make sure that we are allowing for proper recovery and rehab, conducting video analysis and putting our best team out there for each match.”

After a pair of exhibition home games vs. Tampa (8/19) and Lynn (8/23), UCF opens the season at the UCF Soccer Complex at 7 p.m. on Aug. 28 against Florida Atlantic. The squad is opening up at home for the second time in the last three seasons.

The Knights then head to Florida Gulf Coast on Sept. 2 before hosting Mercer on Sept. 6. The first of two trips to Jacksonville, Fla., is set for Sept. 9 against North Florida.

A match in Chicago, Ill., against Northwestern is on Sept. 14. The contest will be played at Toyota Park, the home of Major League Soccer’s Chicago Fire. Former Knight Sean Johnson is a goalkeeper on the Fire.

Grand Canyon comes to Orlando on Sep. 18 for a match before the Knights head to Jacksonville on Sept. 23. UCF begins play in The American on the road at Memphis (Sep. 26).

“Our league is always wide open,” Cunningham said. “Most of the league matches last year were decided by one goal. There is a lot of parody in the league, which makes for exciting matches.”

After facing FIU (9/29) to close out September, the Knights fly to Dallas to take on SMU (10/2). Conference foes Temple (10/7) and Tulsa (10/10) begin the home conference slate. The three-game homestand concludes on Oct. 13 against Stetson.

The Knights travel to UConn on Oct. 17 before making the short trip to take on in-state rival USF on Oct. 21. UCF closes out the regular season at home against Memphis (10/24) and Cincinnati (10/31).

The American Championship begins on Nov. 7 with the quarterfinals being played at campus sites. The semifinals and championship game are set for Nov. 13 and No. 15, respectively, in Tampa, Fla., at Corbett Soccer Stadium.
